Baby’s laughter when blowing soap bubbles is extremely contagious… 🎥VIDEO

Soap bubbles are an excellent technique to assist your child to develop visual abilities. We do not inherit the visual skills needed for learning, such as capturing, following, tracing, focussing, convergence, divergence, and so on. These abilities must be honed over time. How well your child develops visual abilities in the initial months of life will help them study now and in the future.

Bubbles are a terrific technique to assist your child to learn to utilize their eyes and improve those abilities because they are both attention-grabbing and slow-moving. Bubbles are a delightful tummy time for young toddlers, and any happy time benefits growth! The bubbles also encourage head turning in this position—right, left, up, and down—movements that are required to manage the primordial reflexes that are so critical for future fluid, coordinated movement, and learning. As your baby becomes stronger on the stomach, he will grab the bubbles.

Consider all the muscular strengthening and balance development he’ll be doing as he tries to do this! Bubbles also encourage movement. I’ve witnessed several babies take their first steps forward, determined to reach that bubble on the floor. Your growing baby will have a lot of fun chasing bubbles as he learns to crawl, crawl, and fly. Crawling over, under, or over obstacles to reach bubbles helps your child’s muscle tone, body and space awareness, and problem-solving.
