A teenage girl with the voice of Janis Joplin returns to “AGT” to perform her original song for the judges…

One of America’s Got Talent’s most well-known contestants recently returned and impressed the judges once more.

If you’ve seen any of the previous seasons of American Idol, you’ve probably seen Courtney Hadwin. Her audition quickly went viral after it aired.

Courtney received the third Golden Buzzer of the 13th season of America’s Got Talent from judge Howie Mandel.

The youngster entered America’s Got Talent stage for her audition and immediately admitted her nervousness to judge Mel B. Courtney was advised not to be concerned by the court.

When asked what her favorite subject in school was, Courtney stated that music was her favorite. Although Courtney does not have a favorite piece of music that she studies at school, her audition shows that she appreciates the classics.

She commanded the stage as she performed Otis Reading’s “Hard to Handle,” highlighting every gesture with her long, lanky arms.

Her audition performance was so captivating and extraordinary that the judges were completely blown away by her talent. In fact, Howie Mandel compared her to Janis Joplin, one of the most brilliant performers in music history.

Howie said the following just before pressing the Golden Buzzer for Courtney:

“I’m not Clive Davis,” I say. My name is Howie Mandel. I can’t get you a record deal. All I can do for you, young lady, is give you…”

Receiving a Golden Buzzer during the audition rounds is regarded as one of the highest compliments a performer can receive. It’s not surprising that Courtney returned for America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

For this season, they are bringing back the best contestants from all of the Got Talent series. Susan Boyle was, in fact, the season’s first Golden Buzzer!

In celebration of her return to AGT, Courtney performed “Pretty Little Thing,” her first original song.

I’ve been with her since the beginning, and it’s a shame she didn’t win. It’s incredible to see Courtney on stage performing a song she wrote. She has a lot of talent. Keep singing, Courtney; you did an excellent job with this song.
