In a recent court document, Brad Pitt is accused of assaulting Angelina Jolie and their children

In the divorce case between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, there are new court documents that make serious accusations against the father of six.

The New York Times published excerpts from court documents in which Jolie claims Pitt was violent towards her and their children on a private jet journey in 2016. According to the actress’s lawsuit, while the family was flying from France to California, her ex-husband “choked one of the children and hit another in the face.”

Pit allegedly “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her” and “poured beer on Jolie” and “poured beer and red wine on the children” on the same date, according to the court petition. According to reports, an inquiry was conducted into the occurrence at the time, but no criminal charges were filed. According to the New York Times, Jolie filed for divorce just a few days afterward.

At the time, it was said that Jolie and Pitt were splitting up “for the good of the family.” Their divorce papers said that they couldn’t get along anymore.

According to TMZ, Pitt believes Jolie is attempting to turn their children against him. According to a source, the star now has a “limited and difficult connection” with the children as a result of her “campaign of estrangement.” Given that this is a source for Pitt, we’ll take it with a grain of salt.

Jolie and Pitt have six children: Maddox, Chivan Zahara Marley, Angelina Jolie-Pitt Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt Pax Thien, Angelina Jolie Knox, León, and Angelina Jolie-Pitt Jolie-Pitt. They range in age from 14 to 21 years of age.

The couple married in 2014 after meeting on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Pitt began seeing Jolie after his divorce from Friends actress Jennifer Aniston. Brangelina was Hollywood’s “it” pair for the duration of their relationship before calling it quits in 2016. Their divorce has been a source of contention for several years, and this is not the first time Jolie has accused her ex of abuse.
